Object sizes in Numbers (iWork09)

This is just an irritating issue, rather than a problem. If I set the size of a chart to -say - 25cm by 6cm, after a while Numbers changes it to something like 24.72 by 5.69 (not the exact figures by the way). Is there anyway of locking my original dimensions?
