adobe desktop editions
Just got new MacBook Air 2020 with Big Sur 11.1. Can't install Adobe Desktop Editions to download my library books. Very frustrating. Any Suggestions??

Have you Contacted Adobe?
When it comes to software, ask the Developer(s). These are Apple forums. Contact Adobe for support - they'll run you through the fix. Their servers may be too busy at the moment for downloads.
