I had my mac book for a while and i haven't used it in years. My daughter now owns this because she makings gaming videos, She can't download iMovie, neither can she update this mac. Any help or updates?

Is there anything that can maybe help us? Get iMovie. She can't even update her mac at all. We've tried everything.

In order to download iMovie try this.....

Log into the App Store with the Apple ID that you were using when it was your Mac.

Click on the purchased tab as in the following picture.


Do you see iMovie listed on this purchased page?

If so, download.

You may get version 9 as that is the version that was installed when it was shipped new.

Do you ever recall having obtained iMovie version 10 at any time?

You have looked in the applications folder to see if iMovie is in there?
