Can't sign in to icloud: "iCloud is unavailable"

ATV3, was signed in just fine but I signed out trying to troubleshoot why the "Computers" app/icon didn't work anymore after upgrading my Mac Mini to 11.1

Now I just get a generic "icloud is unavailable" error when I try to sign back in. iCloud is up according to Apple's status page. I've tried twice and yes I've very carefully entered my password*

I can sign in to the iTunes store, though.

The 6-digit 2-factor code was delivered to my iphone, and the ATV prompted for it after entering my password which tells me the password was entered correctly.

*(the iOS Remote app is totally useless for typing! Nothing shows up on the TV screen which is a LITTLE infuriating, I mean why even have it?)

Duh, nevermind, I rebooted the stupid thing and it's fine now.

The Remote app is still terrible, though 😉
