Just downloaded Big Sur, and cannot add a fingerprint.

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.1

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears that you're having some issues with Touch ID on your Mac. Are you getting any error messages when attempting to enroll your fingerprint? Have you ever been able to add a fingerprint before? Take a look at the following.
