How Can I Stop Playing Audio In A Specific Browser ? [Audio Utility for Big Sur]

Hello,

Is there any program similar to "Background Music" audio utility [pictured below] that works on Big Sur?

I absolutely hate using Chrome as it crashes and is a ram hog.

It seems to be the only browser that implemented that feature.

I really want to use Firefox. Safari does not offer this feature either.

Please note: Im not referring to 'disable auto audio/video playback feature'.

I do not want to 'mute tabs' either because thats incredibly frustrating as well.

I want to be able to do this:

Please post any links or relevant info.

This is incredibly annoying to me. =(

Seems to work at first however. . .

In Firefox when a new tab is opened in plays the audio.

Then you have to click the icon of BackGround Music and lower it manually again and do this everytime a new tab is opened rendering it pretty much useless.

Thanks for trying to solve my problem.

I guess im stuck with chrome.

Every browser should have this feature hidden deep in the advanced settings somewhere...
