i bought a new charger 45w for my old macbook air, but it didnt come with an extended cable like the older one. want to know that does it comes with an extended cable or have i been cheated.

If you mean the Power Adapter Extension Cable, that is sold separately. It no longer ships with new Macs and it never did ship with replacement power adapters that were purchased separately.
