Tv volume control
I used to be able to control my tv/stereo volume using my iPhone remote for my Apple TV but something changed a few months back and it stopped working. How can I get it working like it was before?

Using the iPhone software remote for volume control requires HDMI-CEC active on the devices, and a receiver that supports volume control over CEC.
Check that you Apple TV is still set as intended:
Settings﹥Remotes and Devices﹥Volume Control﹥Auto via HDMI (receiver).
