The HDMI adapter works on my friends phone but will not work on mine. I’m wondering if there’s something in the settings that could make it work on my phone?

My HDMI adapter quit working on my phone. It works on my friends phone, but no longer on mine. I’m wondering if there’s something in the settings?

Lighting to HDMI Adapter not working with iPhone XS Max and iOS 16.0.2 I upgraded my iPhone XS Max to iOS 16.0.2 and my Lightning to HDMI Adapters are no longer functioning properly. Every adapter either displays a picture without sound, lags horribly without any sound whatsoever, or it gives me sound without picture. I have attempted to override/fix the issues by restarting my phone, installing and reinstalling my video apps, offload and reinstalling all video apps, and checked all my accounts for each as well as all the video and audio settings for each, all without any successful resolution. I’ve tried a total of 6 Lightning to HDMI Adapters and all provided the same results. At $50/adapter it is quite frustrating to know Apple technology on an Apple device does not work nor has a work around/fix AND these issues remain acknowledged by Apple.

Lightning to HDMI Adapter I updated my IPhone 13 to iOS 16.1.1 and now my lightning to HDMI adapter that I use to watch movies on my tv, from my phone, isn’t working. I do see that users have had this issue in the past, and it seems that backing up phone to the cloud, then back to factory setting, has worked for most people. Is this still the best option for this issue? Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Thanks!

Utilizing Lightning to HDMI Adapter for TV after updating to iOS 16.2 I updated my iPad 6th generation to iOS 16.2.. My lightning to HDMI adapter no longer works with my Samsung smart tv. I have two older Samsung tv’s. I have been using the same HDMI and lightning cable with no issues. Once I updated from iOS 15 to 16 the cable no longer works on any of the televisions. I have changed both the HDMI cable and lightning cable with new ones, no change. I tried to utilize my iPhone with the same cables, no difference. Was there an update with the new iOS preventing the lightning to HDMI cable to transfer movies from iPad or iPhone to the television?
