Since im using IOS14 i mentioned that find my Iphone App is tracking my location every single minute!! even if im not using it at that moment!! which is dropping my batterie capacity!! is it a Bug??
anyone contacted apple about that issue or know a way to solve it without turning the app off, cause i need it in case of lost?!

When Find My is enabled, it allows you to see the location of your iPhone so you can locate it if it's ever lost or stolen. Even if the device is powered off, or runs out of battery power, you're able to see the last available location. In order for this to be possible, it would be necessary for Find My to know the location of your iPhone on an ongoing basis.
Find My is designed to be able to do this, without significant impact to your iPhone's battery. If your iPhone isn't lasting as long as you expect on a charge, the steps on the following page may help: Maximizing Battery Life and Lifespan
That being said, privacy is definitely essential too. Additional information about how location is used, while simultaneously keeping that info private, is available here: Location Services & Privacy

One option you have is to tap Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Find My and disable Share My Location. The following page provides some additional information about this option: Find friends and share your location with Find My
You can also tap Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Find My, to manage how the app accesses your location.
If you need more help, let us know why you suspect Find My is continuously using your location, and it's impact on battery performance. Are you seeing this in Settings > Battery under Usage, or somewhere else?

first want to thank you for your reply.
i've just followed all steps on your mail, unfortunately my find my phone still tracking me.
actually i already disabled share my phone since i noticed that my phone is tracking me all the time. which means i won't see a report of it on battery functions..but logically for sure will impact my battery...
Also to know that my Iphone is tracking me all the time and wherever i go is so annoying for me, thats why this issue is not only about battery performance, but also about privacy too..
hopefully you have another solution to solve it...thanks in advance.

Im actually using find my Iphone to track my iphone when for exemple i loose it! so as i always did, i track my iphone just when i need to track it.
After IOS 14 i have noticed that find my Iphone is traking me all the time.. which will kill my batterie, but also it disturbs me to know that my iphone is tracking me all the time.
before IOS 14, i was able to choose when i want to track my iphone, but now its not anymore possible, cause its tracking me all the time.

actually i know it throw that logo of tracking on top left, then wen i go to to setting i find that violet logo lighting behind find my Iphone. already took a screenshot from my mobile. and as i said, that logo is quite all the time active which means find my iphone option is tracking me all the time. this problem actually didn't have before IOS14. I actually need this option ONLY when i want to use it and not tracking me all the time wherever i go..
I'm confused by your request. If you do not want to be tracked, you can just turn off the ability. What is it exactly that you were wanting to do that causes you to keep it on?
