iPad 7th Gen back camera not working

My brand new 7th gen iPads back camera is not working at all. It’s black. I have erased the data. Upgraded the software. Switched the camera back and forth. Etc. Can someone please assist.

We understand that the rear facing camera on your new iPad isn't working, and that you've already done some troubleshooting. Being able to enjoy your iPad and all its features is definitely important, especially when it's brand new. With that said, we'll certainly do all that we can to help sort this out.


To start, can you tell us if there's a protective case on your iPad, and have you already done a simple restart? Please use the following resource as reference: If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working


If there's no protective case and you've also performed the troubleshooting within that resource, next, we ask that you contact us directly by using the following link: Get Support


From there, we should be able to dive a bit further into this issue together.
