Mac OS installation

Hi everyone.

I cleaned my SSD.

In process of registering https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208496 my MacBook Pro mid 2010 lost connection with WiFi.

As result when I turn it on and press cmd+R or alt+cmd+R MacBook ask me WiFi connection. Then it start some process.

Then I have an error. Errors # can be little bit different:

-501 0F(10) or -501 0F(6).

Thanks a lot for any help)

This indicates the Internet Recovery has lost Wifi connections. If possible - connect via an Ethernet connection. If not possible, move as close to router as possible and disconnect ALL Other devices sharing the Wifi connection.

Yes, 5 Ghz is faster but must have good connection between laptop and Router and hopefully very little background interference from other Wifi signals in the area.

As for Full Download - actually is a Full Download. That is because the internal drive was Wiped of everything so needs the Full version to download and install

Good Luck and pleased we could answer the question and offer solution.
