iPhone Music Cutting Out

Hi,

Ever since iOS 13, my iPhone 8 & 11 has had an issue with playing music (or any audio) while performing other tasks. When performing tasks such as opening an app or anything that slightly requires the processor to work causes the music to cut out for a second or two. This has been more prevalent in iOS 14. This mostly happens when I have my AirPods or Beats X connected to my phone.

My iPhone 11 is at 100% battery capacity & it is able to run at peak performance.

Any help would be greatly appreciated in resolving this.

iPhone 11, iOS 14

Hello Shevy734,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities! It looks like you haven't received an answer to your question. If you are able to provide additional information, then perhaps someone will be able to assist you. Some questions that might be helpful to answer are:

1. Does the behavior occur when opening any apps or specific apps? Does it happen with built-in apps such as Safari or Messages?

2. How was the music added to your iPhone? With an Apple Music subscription, purchased from the iTunes Store, synced from a computer?

3. Is the music downloaded to your iPhone to play offline or is it being streamed over the internet?

Cheers!
