Migration Assistant

I'm transferring from an older MacBook to a new MacBook Pro. The process after a couple of tries seems to be doing what it supposed to. On the new MacBook Pro it has the select information to transfer screen and it shows the GB and KBs that have been transferred. On the older MacBook it has the transferring your information screen end it has been several hours looking for applications and documents to transfer the blue bar seems to be extended all the way to the end at the bottom it shows the cancel button. Nowhere does it say it's finished transferring.

What to do?

We'd love to assist you with migrating your information over using Migration Assistant. Although there is not a set time frame for the transfer, it is based on the size of the transfer and the internet connection speed being used. A larger transfer might need several hours to complete.
