mail won't stop bcc
Apple Mail preference is no longer selected to send BCC to an account but it keeps sending a copy to a deleted email address. Mac OS 10.13.6.
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.13

Ask your eMail Provider:
Have you contacted your eMail Provider? See if this has anything to do with a Setting on your eMail Provider's site. Ask them what needs to be done.
Inform Apple of This:
Let Apple know of what has occurred. Apple won't get back to you directly. But, the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is going on with the App, and how to fix it in updates to come.
Where is it getting it from then??? An old group or contact card?
1) My email provider (Google) would not be associated with what email addresses I put into (or leave out) of a BCC field in my MacOS mail.app.
2) Removed the previous recipient so that it wouldn’t autofill, but that would be unrelated to BCC.
Thank you for asking.
