Word and Excel say that I no longer have permission to open them. This may have started when I recently installed Big Sur.
I saw where it might have something to do with a profile?
Any help would be appreciated \..

I went into each app via Get Info, then changed permissions - now they seem to be working.
Log into your office account and check to make sure it shows as being active.
You may need to reinstall your key.
I just had Word and Excel on my iMac when I bought it. Where would I find my office account?
Go to the Microsoft (office) website to do anything office related.
I went to word and this is what it looks like. It says sign out so I'm assuming I'm signed in and active. Is this correct?
Plus the post wouldn't allow me to insert the jpg......
