Gapless Playback broken in Apple Music

This question has been posted before, but since we haven't seen any progress, I thought it should be posted again...

Current versions of Music don't manage Gapless Playback - really annoying to have a significant gap between music tracks that are supposed to flow seamlessly from one to another. I'm seeing this problem on multiple computers and OS versions (MacBook Pro running Big Sur; iMac and MacMini on Catalina)

I endure the hiccups on multiple albums, for example:

Jackson Browne, Solo Acoustic Vol. 1, AIFF rip from CD

i'm pretty sure this problem arose with the transition from iTunes to Music.

Any guidance would be much appreciated!

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 10.15

Yep. Welcome to 2021, where technology is so advanced that Apple Music has broken gaps between albums such as "The Wall" and "Dark Side Of The Moon." Gapless playback has been available in iTunes forever, but apparently Apple has become so advanced in technology that this feature is no longer available. Another great Apple Music feature is the inability to keep ripped multiple CD sets organized together. Why wouldn't the user want to have, say, Queen's Platinum collection to start with disc 2, then disc 3 and disc 1? Who knows where the Apple Music put it. But that's part of the fun! A musical treasure hunt to track down disc 1. Sort of a musical 'hide and go seek.'

I'm sure the engineers would tell us that these aren't problems. They're "features" that we should appreciate.
