iCalendar on MacBook Air is one day off - iPhone is showing correct dates

My main contact list is on OneDrive and I am using this list for my contacts on both MacBook and iPhone. (iCloud is deactivated).

When looking at birthdays on MacBook, they are indicated +1 day.

On iPhone and OneDrive Contact-list dates are correct.

Timezones on all 3 are Belgium / Brussels. How can I fix this?

Thank you for your feedback

Hello mattheusb.

We'd like to ask a few questions so we can determine the best steps to take next.

  1. Are the birthdays incorrect when you view them in the Contacts app on your MacBook Air?
  2. After you deleted the account and restarted your MacBook Air before adding the account again where the birthdays still showing in Calendar?
  3. Where the contacts still listed in the Contacts app?
  4. Were they still listed on the wrong days in either app?

Cheers.

Good afternoon,

Enclosed my answers:

  1. birthdays are showing +1 day in my Contacts App on MacBook Air only
  2. birthdays were not showing anymore on Calendar after re-boot
  3. no contacts were listed in Contacts App.
  4. when adding them after delete and reboot: still showing +1 day

Would you have another solution to propose as it is very disappointing to see that on iPhone and Microsoft all works correctly, but it does not on a brand new MacBook Air.

Kind regards

Mattheus

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities, mattheusb.

If we understand your post correctly, your contacts are synced from OneDrive and contacts' birthdays appear correctly on your iPhone but on your MacBook Air they are all off by one day. We understand how important it is to have events reflected correctly on all your devices. We’d like to help.

On your MacBook Air delete the account the contacts are synced from. Then restart your MacBook Air and add the account again.

Let us know if that resolves this issue for you.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.
