Downloading Telegram from the apple store

I was unable to find the application in my downloads or application folder. I tried to get the app various time unable to find it in my machine until I searched extensively and eventually I found this folder

org.sparkle-project folder.Sparkle

Which contained another folder called

Persistent Download

with various previous folders with downloads of Telegram folders including the app always downloaded from the Apple Store.

I wonder if this happens normally to others, and why would Apple Store use this system to download this specific app, or if this comes from the Telegram developers, and the Apple Store never noticed it.

I have no complain with Telegram nor it seems as if I get into any weird behaviour in my MACBOKPRO with Mojave.

However could anyone give me some hints please.
