I didn't ask it to change color. It's like it did it on it's own and now I cannot get it to print black even though I switch it to black. Something so simple and FRUSTRATING at the same time. Where is the troubleshooting and support pages for PAGES????!!!

Pages User Guide for Mac, or your Pages Help menu. When changing text color in Pages, the target text must be selected before a color from the color well, or the color (globe) chooser will apply to the text.

Can you provide more detail on your Pages issue?
When does some/all of the text in your document change to a colour other than black?
Are all the changes to the same colour?
Does it happen in one document? several documents? all new documents?
Can you see any pattern to the colour change?
Could you provide a screen shot of a document page with the text that has been re-coloured selected, and including the Text pane if the Format Inspector?
Is the profile information regarding your OX X version (seen below your initial post) up to date?

My problem is strange. I'm not trying to change the color of text that is already written. But somehow, the text types yellow. I change it to black, but it won't apply. The color globe is black, but the text is yellow.
in PAGES how can I STOP my text from changing color.
