Glue tool and Mute
Hi!
In Logic Pro X I glued two audio regions by Glue Tool. After that I muted the second one. But the mute function did not work. Why ?

This is Logic's strange bevavior. I don't like it too.
As long you don't move one of the regions you like to glue or change something destructively, you restore the long region including the click again PLUS you create a small muted region.
My Advise: Dont glue them together. Go to the Main Window and create fades.
You can file a Bug Report or Feature Request

How can you select the second region if you just glued it together with another one?
the boundaries of the second region do not disappear, although both regions move together. See my video on youtube - https://youtu.be/2ZdsfVNBSFI
