trackpad

I have a MacBook Pro 13" with a T1 chip.

My trackpad works when I am logging in, but not once it boots.

Any solutions?

Dear Rafael,

Thanks so much for all of your effort.

Actually, there was a very simple solution to my problem.

When I was still on the "Catalina" operation system, I used to go to go to:

System Preferences\ Accessibility\ Trackpad etc.

But what I learned on my own is that on "Big Sur", you need to go here:

System Preferences\ Accessibility\ Pointer Control\ Mouse & Trackpad,

then select or deselect "Ignore built-in trackpad when mouse or wireless trackpad is present".

I am going to suggest that they put the "Ignore built-in.." option under Trackpad instead of Accessibility.

Also check for this service program Keyboard Service Program for MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro - Apple Support. It's related to the keyboard but when the service is done, it actually replaces the entire lower case, it means the case, the keyboard, the trackpad and the battery.
