Gummy drop won’t open in my iPad

i’ve been playing gummy drop & now it won’t open in my IPad

UPDATE: Players on Apple and Android devices - there are updates available now that will get your game back up and running -

As I posted in a previous reply, I have an older iPhone that I haven’t used in a while. It still works on that. It updated to my saved game and I played the next level to save that status. I then uninstalled the app from my iPad and reinstalled it. It started back at Sydney at level 1. I then logged in via Facebook. And it updated and I was able to go to where I was on my old iPhone. In other words, where it should be. I don’t think I’ve lost anything except some time. I was lucky to have a device that was not effected, but if your game was saved when the app was still functioning I think it is probably safe to delete and reinstall.

Gummy Drop developer apparently aware of the problem. I suggest you reach out to them at Big Fish through the support option of their app in app store. Email from them Jan 4, 2021 approx 5pm of pst:


Hi,

The game team is working hard to determine why our players are having trouble with Gummy Drop!, and we hope to have this issue resolved soon. 


We do ask that you do not uninstall the game to try and fix the issue. Our team will be happy to follow up with you as we know more.

I’m having the same issue with Gummy Drop not opening since sometime after morning on 1/4/2021. I have an iPad Pro and am running the latest version of iOS 14.3. I have plenty of storage available.


Model: MPF02LL/A 256 GB 10.5” iPad Pro

Believe it was purchased in April 2019

Storage available approximately 231.54 GB.


I also contacted BigFish for Gummy Drop support. They indicated that I should not delete the App and restore it:
