Apple Watch won’t connect to my phone.

I recently got back on my Apple Watch from a 6 month break. It said I needed an update so I went on my phone but when I started installing the update it made me reset my watch. Halfway through the update I took it off the charger and brought it back to work. I put it back on the charger at work and it said it was installing but when i looked at my watch it said it was factory reset on the page and I needed to pair. So I canceled the update on my phone but when I try to pair now it won’t work. So I tried manual pair but the i icon won’t work when I tap on it. Please help.
