FileVault hello i have a problem i wanted to turn off the filevault and then it showed me some code to type later when it's all over but i didn't paint that code i just ignored how to stop encrypting help me thank you

Last week I turned off FileVault and it said "Decrypting... Estimating time remaining" It's been like that for more than 5 days now. I'm assumimg that it is never going to end. Ultimatly, I would like to turn FileVault back on, but there is no way to do it in it's current state. I even did a full reboot and when I go into the filevault settings, it's still the same message, "Decrypting... Estimating time remaining"

You cannot cancel the encryption or decryption process. You must wait for the process to complete if you want to disable Filevault.
