Deleting an alias to my apple ID with an @icloud.com address.

Is there any possible way that I can delete an @icloud.com email address from my apple id account? It is not my primary address, and I'm not quite sure how it got on there. Its been there fro a while, and whenever I attempt to delete the address in the "reachable at" area on the apple id website, it says that it "is an alias of your apple id address." Does anyone know how to fix this?
