Device not showing up in icloud

I just logged into icloud on my laptop, and my iphone is not showing up as a device, although my old ipad does. My phone says it is backing up to icloud and the last successful backup was last night. Can anyone help me figure this out? TIA

iCloud Backup My phone broke and I can't turn it on but the data is backed up on my IPad. I'm getting the 11 in a few days and since my iPad is 4th gen, it is still on iOS 10.I'm worried that it won't transfer the new stuff like the widgets I had on my iPhone home screen to my new phone. When you transfer data to a new device does it transfer data from the device of your choice or does it transfer the data from your most recent backup?

my phone is not backing up to the icloud I am trying to transfer my info from and IPHone 5s to an Iphone 6s plus. I am unable to back up the 5s to icloud. the progress bar does not move.

If the device isn't backing up - If you can't back up to iCloud or restore from iCloud backup failed - Apple Support. Also, are you signed in to the device with the same ID?
