is anyone having a problem with virgin.com email passwords on iphone?

My mum is with Virgin, but she’s been warned on apple password security recommendations that the virgin media passwords are on a data breach list. There looks like there might be a couple of other sites that she uses on her virgin media passwords for that might be related to that data breach as well.

I found it very hard to find where the individual Virgin account passwords could be changed, but I eventually managed to get them to send her “lost password reset” emails and changed them both. I then tried to change both passwords in Apple email accounts.

On one account the change has worked fine, but the other is only receiving but not sending. The iPhone allowed the change of password for the incoming messages, but it wouldn’t let me do anything with the outgoing one as it says it’s the primary account.

Mum is thinking of packing in Virgin shortly. They will then delete these accounts, but she needs to change the contact email address on a few sites first.

Has anyone else with a Virgin email account had a problem with updating the passwords on IPhone Mail? How did you get round it? Thanks.
