Screen not turning on when alarm goes off

I've got a brand new iphone 11 with iOs 14.3

When the alarm goes off the screen won't turn on, I can only use the physical keys to postpone the alarm and not actually turning it off.

It happens randomly, sometimes it works as it should, sometimes not.

It used to happen also when I was on iOs 14.2, so after updating the problem is still happening.

iPhone 11, iOS 14

Hi Dustin, thank you for your reply.

I don't think there is an issue with the display, I tried what the guide said, many times.

I can report that this problem also affects the iPhone SE 2020 of my friend.

A workaround for this is to turn on the "Tap to wake" feature inside "Accessibility", so even if the display is off when the alarm goes off, I can wake it up and get to show the alarm screen.

However, I think that in such a "well-designed" product these minor software problems should not happen.
