CD/DVD on the new IMac

The new IMac doesn’t have any CD/DVD player. Does anyone know how to import Music ou video from a CD/DVD ? Thanks for your help.

how to play video from an external hd? I have a hard drive (Cocopa) that plays DVDs. I plug its USB into my MacBook Air (using Catalina) and the 'location' registers the hard drive. But it only shows two folders, one 'video', the other 'audio'. How can I get the DVD movie to play? [All I find online are years-old 'how-to' for an old version of iTunes.]

Buy Super Drive or other CD/DVD drive. I use both. If using Super Drive it must be connected directly to iMac (do not use a hub)

You'll have to buy a SuperDrive
