My Apple CarPlay won’t work. I bought an iPhone pro max, using an Apple iPhone wire, took my car to the dealer to update my radio, updated the USB ports. When I plug in my phone, the phone charges but I cannot select the usb option on my radio. Apple CarPlay doesn’t pop up.
I don’t know what else to do. Help.
I’ve taken it to the dealer... they changed the fuse. They replaced the usb plug. A tech plugged in their iPhone 11 and it worked. I plugged in my old iPhone 8plus and didn’t work. They said we fixed everything on our end and maybe it’s just not compatible. Terrible excuse but that’s what they said.

Brian. Thank you for your helpful hints. I tried everything from the link. I have restarted my car/phone. Car has updated stereo computer. When I plug in my phone is says please connect a compatible device. I can’t even use my phone to listen to music through the USB. But it charges my phone. It’s so weird. Any other ideas? Thank you
