So I just bought a new car and I have been trying to set up apple carplay. I had someone try the anddoid auto and it worked right away but for some reason when i plug in my cord, it says that i need to plug in a usb. When Iplug it in, it charges my phone and plays music, but won’t connect to my car through usb in order to connect and my car won’t even pop up on my phone. I know it doesn’t have anything to do with the actual usb port in my car because android auto worked
I tried all four of my usb ports and I even read the carplay section in my manual and it’s still mot working
If you have multiple USB ports, not all of them may be usable for CarPlay.
Check your owners manual.
Ask your dealer for help. You've paid for it.
Yeah thats where I was going next, I just don’t understand why the android carplay worked and apple won’t.
