I have an iPhone XR that I purchased with finance from an Apple store in July 2019. The agreement is until July 2021. Id like to trade it in for a new iPhone on finance. Is that possible? What happens to the outstanding finance, does it just come off my trade in value?

You can only trade in fully paid for phones. Contact your credit provider and ask to pay off the balance.
