How do you create Inboxes within Inboxes

Hi guys, in recent times my email accounts have increased in number due to several different ventures of mine however managing has become a little untidy.

I was initially in the hope that I could organise them all via iCloud however I have been told by an Apple advisor this is not possible and I need to continue using Mail or any other platform that allows what I want.

As a result I decided to stick with Mail however its very annoying that a. I need to set all my accounts and mailboxes on each individual device of mine (all of which are part of the Apple eco system) b. Having several ventures some have multiple email addresses which I would like to organise in Sub folders (sub inboxes).

So for example I have 3 companies (just a made up example). Green Apples Limited, Awesome Laptops Limited and Macintosh Skincare Limited. The companies have the following email addresses:

Green Apples Limited: Info@greenapples.com

Awesome Laptops Limited: info@awesomelaptops.com, sales@awesomelaptops.com

Macintosh Skincare Limited: hello@macintoshskincare.com, enquiries@macintoshskincare.com, complaints@macintoshskincare.com

What I would like to do is create one primary inbox for each of these companies which I believe shall have to be under default Inbox as this cannot be removed as a root folder.

Thus I would like to have the following Inboxes with their respective sub inboxes but the sub inboxes shall have their own Mail Accounts linked to the relevant email addresses named above.

Green Apples Limited (no sub inbox as there is only one email address)

Awesome Laptops Limited > General/Sales

Macintosh Skincare Limited > General/Enquiries/Sales

So the primary Inbox does not have an account linked to it direct but rather is a primary folder to house each of the accounts related to that business.

I am hoping this makes sense.

Please do share some knowledge

Whilst at it please also explain how I can set these Mailboxes in as little steps as possible on my new MacBook Pro as the setup is a little more tidier on the iPad Pro than my older MacBook Pro.

Thank you

Just looking in here, haven't any specific answers; however there are

'smart mailboxes' that may be somehow designated to handle one

account. ~ This may not be an answer; just a few guesses + searches.

"Unlike standard mailboxes, with a Smart Mailbox, you don't select a

particular account with which to associate these emails. They'll catch

everything that comes into Mail that fits your parameters, no matter

which of your accounts an email is bound for." ~ from 'imore' link.

Additional perhaps helpful links are within cited articles.

Some appear to use a 'boolean search' concept; & that does not always work.

However I've happened across several of these; maybe they're not false leads.

Good luck & happy computing!

Hi K thank you for your reply buddy. My searches have lead me to Smart mailboxes as the "closest" thing to what im after however it is not what I want as Im wanting multiple Mailboxes with their respective accounts organised into Primary Mailboxes (that have no account attached) just to tidy the mailbox section so that I can click each company primary mailbox which subsequently expands mailboxes within.

I have seen this on youtube where individuals have this setup but sadly are not explaining how they are doing it and the purpose of those videos is often something else.

Lol you would have thought this is straight forward
