FaceTime Picture in Picture freezes up

Occasionally my iPhone 7 Plus will freeze up after a FaceTime call. After the call the entire screen turns black with the Picture in Picture symbol. Any ideas?

Hi Danielle,

Thanks for the response! I unfortunately am not able to force close the app. I have to do a forced reset, which is fine, but gets annoying after awhile. I’m on FaceTime pretty frequently. It only started happening with iOS 14.
