Couldn't paste document from other place when use search bar find file

Hello! Does anyone meet this kind of situation? When I (Command + C) copy a document and use the search bar in the finder to find a file, then select the file and (command + option + V), the document will not go and paste into the file. It's a common problem, or just my Mac have this weirdness? 🤔 Thanks!

When you select a file and choose COPY, its NAME is copied to the clipboard. when you paste, its NAME will be pasted, which is not meaningful into a folder, so nothing happens.

If you want to move a file, you select the file and drag the file to the new location. If the source and destination are on different drives, it will be duplicated to the new location by default.
