Initially worked with both my iPad and iPhone connecting to my lg smart tv.. one day I tried the charge at the same time feature with my iPad and now the adaptor no longer works on my iPad - only works with my phone. When I plug in the iPad to the adapter the blue connecting symbol shows and then disappears... help!

If we understand, the adapter you are using works fine with your iPhone. It used to work fine with the iPad, until you charged the iPad at the same time you were connecting to your TV.
