MacBook Pro 2017 USB-C HUB not works properly

I have a problem with the thunderbolt 3 ports of my 2017 macbook pro 13 "without touch
 bar, when I connect a usb 3.0 hub before the peripherals start working and be detected
 I have to wait a long time even 2/3 minutes, and furthermore the hdmi present in the hu
b does not work at all, I opened the system information page and I noticed that in the 
USB 3.0 Bus the hub is detected as "USB2.0 Hub" also I notice that the power supply is 
500mah and the speed is 480mb / s, I tried SMC and PRAM reset but nothing according to
you what can be the problem?
