New iPad won’t let me type password

I have just got a new iPad and setup was smooth until I tried to type in password for my mail. It will not let me do that? The keypad I purchased with the iPad is working because I was able to type on my calendar ok. Any ideas?

Try to disconnect the keypad (i.e. remove it from the BlueTooth devices) and use the on-screen keyboard to enter your password. Is your password accepted? If not, there is an issue with the password. You may need to talk to your email provider.


And remember to pair your BlueTooth keyboard again.
