macbook pro overheating while in use

why does my MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) get so hot while using. The fan holes in the back are not being blocked. There is no cover on on my laptop either.

Macbook gets uncomfortably hot Hey everyone, I was wondering if there was a conclusion regarding the macbook pro 2018 overheating problem. Mine is also only 3 months old and I keep it in a cool room on a laptop holder, no dust, not in a corner and when I use programs like photoshop it gets reeeeally hot pretty fast (less than 1 hour). I'd say uncomfortable if I were typing on it (but I use a separate monitor and keyboard). Did anyone figure out a solution?

MacBook heating issue Recently, I have noticed that my MacBook Air gets hot within 5 minutes of being turned on. The heating is limited to a small region above the keyboard. I do not use the MacBook for any heavy task. I rarely watch videos on it but use Safari a lot. This issue, however had never happened until now. I do not use my MacBook for prolonged periods either. Could anybody help me?

Perform an SMC Reset.

Run the Apple Diagnostics.

To look for software issues run EtreCheck and post the report here using the "Additional Text" icon which looks like a piece of paper.
