Siri "how many days until 2021"

Yeah, Siri is trying to say you’re all a bunch of whack jobs, that needs to get out of the twilight zone and get a life. The computer is reading what’s on the internet. No the world is not ending, no we’re not tine traveling and no we’re not in another universe except for you. Siri is not intelligent life, she’s a software that’s programmed by a real life human being. It’s nothing more than a software glitch, an error, and you druggies are taking the nonsense to another level.

Which is a correct approximation. It’s technically 3 hours and 22 minutes from 16:59 to 20:21, rounded to 3 hours.

So i asked how many days until 2021? She said 219 days. I then asked how many more days until 2022? She said 220 days. But in 219 days it’ll be Friday December 31, 2021. But now my Siri won’t respond to me unless i press and hold the lock button. I think she’s on to me lol. But in all seriousness when i ask Alexa how many more days until 2021 she says it was 45 days ago. hmmmm.

What answer did you expect? When you ask a meaningless question, what should the answer be? Maybe Siri is too polite to point out it is a meaningless question.

If you insist on asking Siri a useless question, try this one:

If it takes a hen and a half, a day and a half to lay an egg and a half? How long would it take a cross-eyed crab with a wooden leg to kick a hole in a galvanized bucket?

The answer should be as enlightening as the replies to the other meaningless questions.

Siri is not misunderstanding; you are asking a meaningless or incomplete question. And using the rules of formal logic if your premise is false all answers are true and correct. Perhaps Siri should actually respond “your question doesn’t make sense”, but she’s too polite for that😏

I’ve asked things of Alexa and gotten the response “I didn’t understand that”, another possible answer.

Here’s a similar question from my early years: “What’s the difference between a duck?” And the answer? “One leg are both the same"

Wrong because I asked her how many days left of this year she said 364 I asked how many days till 2021 she said 356

I asked how many days until 2021 she said 355. I asked how many days until 2021 is over and she said the same thing. 355 days until then. I’m not going to big or like the rest of you.

I also asked how many days until 1st January 2021 and I came across the exact same problem, very weird. Doesn’t seem to be a problem with the phrasing, just the response.

How come the 2 don’t match??
