Not receiving Gmail notifications on Mail app

Hi all,

I have a notification problem on my 12 pro max device which I used to have on my Xs Max as well.

I have 2 accounts on my device - 1 Gmail and 1 Exchange-. Whenever I get a new mail on my Exchange, it notifies my immediately, no issues here. But if I have a new mail in my Gmail, no notification show up. I get the new mail when I open the Mail app.

This issue happens only on Apple's Mail app. Outlook, Spark etc. notify me for new mails both for Exchange and Gmail when there is one.

Any idea how I can solve this?

Hello,

Thanks for the update.

On your iPhone, go to Settings > Mail > Accounts. Select Fetch New Data. Push needs to be on, and for your Gmail account, select Fetch. Make sure the Fetch schedule is set Every 15 minutes, or less if you prefer.

Thanks for the information.

We know that notifications are working correctly for the iOS Mail app since you are receiving notifications for the Exchange account. The issue seems to be with the Gmail account.

Thanks for your help.

All my notification settings are the same for both of my accounts - Gmail and Exchange. I have removed the Gmail account and added again multiple times but no solution.

Notifications for my Exchange account works just fine but no luck with Gmail account.
