Sensory problem?(I hope not🙄)

I have an iPhone X. It all started yesterday— I couldn’t drag down from the top of my screen for the notification bar or the control system. This morning is when the top of my screen stopped working as far as touch and it’s non functionality only goes down as far as the search bar on Safari but everything under that “line” works. The only way I can get to the control center and notification bar by swiping from the top is by using landscape mode. Tap to wake also isn’t working now. I’ve already tried restarting my phone and turning off the tap to wake and control center options and turning them on again and nothing worked. I’m also updating to the newest software (I’m using 13.5.1). Does anybody know why my phone’s doing this, is this something I can fix myself and if so HOW because the AssistiveTouch thing is very tedious.
