MacBook Air M1 2020

I use Chrome and Safari for multiple websites and online trading softwares. But My MacBook Air M1 2020 gets sluggish and slows down every 2-3 days.

Then I have to restart afresh. Deleting Cache from Library does not help much. Already updated to Mac OS Big Sur Can somebody help please?

Please run Etrecheck and post its full report here so we can know about other third party external and daemons which may be causing problems.

Chrome is known to be a big resource hog, but there may be other issues.

Well, I have not seen this is quite a while!

You have remnants of that awful "mackeeper" thing. This is malware.

You also have several bits and pieces that no doubt came from your previous mac.

Also: Chrome and its "keystone" agents and daemons are terrible resource hogs.

I strongly advise you to make a backup, and then restart from recovery, erase and install and migrate ONLY the user accounts.

Only install applications and other stuff fresh from the App Store or their developers websites.
