Apple TV picture is too large to fit on screen

Whilst using Apple TV the other day I pressed some buttons on the remote and the picture became enlarged so that it is too big to fit on the TV screen (see photo)

i have googled and checked this forum but with no answer helping me. It is nothing to do with Accessibility menu as there is no zoom option there. Any suggestions?

Its an Apple TV Series 2 (I think, although the model number doesn’t display in the TV as the image is too big!

From what can be seen of the TV Software version, it appears to be a 3rd Generation Apple TV.

There is no actual Zoom setting on that model, so its kind of strange you would have activated it by something you pressed on the remote.

Have you checked the actual TV's settings?

The other option would be to unplug the HDMI cable from the Apple TV, and plug it in again, so it can refresh its display resolution
