I can't log into my email address. Throws out and offers to re-enter the password.

I can't log into my email address. Throws out and offers to re-enter the password. I changed the password, the problem is, I can go to my Apple ID and email, but I get thrown out of the email, I sent a message from Gmail to my address and it did not come and it says that the email address does not exist.
