iPhone 12 Pro: Apple logo flashes not steady when doing a restart???

If the phone won't restart that's one thing; if the only issue is the logo flashes, that seems of literally zero importance.

Either way, you've followed proper procedure, you've let Apple know, and if it turns out to be an issue they'll address it eventually.

New feature? Internal part change?

The logo could flash on and off to the best of The Bee Gees’ “Night Fever,” it still makes zero difference in the functionality of the phone and I can’t understand why people are getting so worked up about it.

If phones that did one or the other operated differently, that would be one thing, but if it’s just the boot logo, I don’t see the issue.

After reading your answers, I deduce that you do not own an iPhone 12/12 Pro with this issue, am I right?

You're not alone with this. I've now had TWO 12 Pros, both with the same issue. There are other threads about it. The thing does not start up properly.

it's maddening beyond belief. I think the Pixel 5 looks very appealing right now.

thanks for bringing this up because i was literally looking up on google if anyone else had this issue with the new iphone 12 pro. i wanted to restart my phone as per usual (iphone 11 for example) press volume up, volume down... then hold the power button. the apple logo doesn’t stay on the screen like before. it quickly flashes then goes to a black screen as if i completely turned it off? weird.

Likewise. How many updates have there been? Perhaps 50? I’ve never had a problem after any update.

No just could not normal after force restart. I Try two different tow different ways to turn it off. Just the Same the iPhone won’t start for few minutes later. Anh sometime not turn on at all. I have to use the charger or wireless charge to make the iPhone turn on

Same here, my 12 pro power on with flashing apple logo and then on may be software bug or hareware error

If so, then there shouldn’t be any problem right? It will not effect any performance while using the phone right? Hopefully the new iOS update will solve this problem immediately .

Hopping for next update , im worry that i spent too much on my 12 pro , hope next update fix it if not ive to claim warranty coverage

Same issue. SN starts with DNPF

Has anyone update the latest iOS 14.4 on their iPhone 12 pro yet? How was it? Does the apple logo still flashing when it is turn on or gone already? Can someone share their experience, thank you.

Reports so far is that it doesn’t fix this issue.
