Hi! It depends on how old is your MacBook Air. If it’s still possible, update the Operating System to the latest one from the App Store (Big Sur). If you are already on the latest possible OS then it means you laptop is too old to get the latest version of Safari.

You can still use the version of Safari that you have, but potentially you can miss out on some of the latest functions.
