Copy data from one numbers sheet to another

I don't think I've found an answer to this. I need to append data from one sheet on to another without have to first enter the exact number of blank rows first in the target sheet. It seems that if I eneter too many or to few I either get truncated or duplicated data.

Mac mini 2018 or later

How are you appending data to a table? (it's a "table" because "sheets" in Numbers have a canvas on which you put tables with cells in rows and columns).


If you are copying or cutting and pasting, then when you click a blank cell in the destination table and type command-v the table will expand automatically to accommodate the data.
