My Mac Pro does not discover a Bose speaker on Bluetooth

Just using it with your iPhone isn’t pairing mode. You need to make the speaker discoverable so the Mac can find it. If there’s a Bluetooth button on the speaker, press and hold it. Or turn it off then press and hold the power button for a while. Those are common ways, check the instructions for the speaker.

Did you put the speaker in pairing mode?
